Weak Hero Class 1 is a school action drama that follows Yeon Si-eun, a quiet, extremely intelligent student with little interest in fighting. He spends most of his time studying and consistently ranks at the top of his class. Although he looks physically weak, Si-eun is far from helpless. He uses his intelligence, quick thinking, and knowledge of his surroundings to protect himself when things get violent.
At school, Si-eun becomes a target for bullies who assume his small, quiet personality makes him an easy victim. Instead of simply accepting their abuse, he begins finding clever ways to fight back. His ability to stay calm under pressure makes him much more dangerous than his enemies expect.
Things begin to change when Si-eun becomes friends with Ahn Su-ho, a confident and physically strong student who is not afraid to stand up for others.
