Story & Plot:

Sweet Home Season 1 follows Cha Hyun-su, a quiet high school student who moves into an old apartment building called Green Home after a tragic family accident leaves him living alone. He keeps to himself and has little interest in connecting with the other residents.

Soon after Hyun-su moves in, something strange begins happening around the world. People start turning into terrifying monsters, and danger surrounds Green Home. The residents are suddenly trapped inside the building and must work together to survive.

Hyun-su discovers that he is experiencing strange changes himself. Unlike many of the monsters, however, he tries to hold on to his humanity. His condition makes him both a possible danger and an important source of hope for the other residents.

Inside Green Home, Hyun-su meets people with very different personalities and backgrounds. Eun-hyeok takes a practical leadership role, while Ji-su, Jae-heon, Yi-kyung, and other residents each contribute to the group’s survival. As they face one challenge after another, they slowly begin to trust and depend on each other.

The residents also discover that the monsters are connected to people’s inner desires. This makes Hyun-su question what it really means to become a monster and whether someone can remain human while changing.

As supplies become limited and new threats appear, tensions grow inside Green Home. The residents must decide who they can trust while trying to protect the building from the creatures outside. Their biggest challenge is not only surviving the monsters but also keeping their humanity during a terrifying crisis.
