Story & Plot:

Cha Hyun-su is still struggling to control the monster inside him. Although he has extraordinary abilities, he desperately wants to hold on to his human side. His biggest challenge becomes facing Pyeon Sang-wook, who has taken a very different path and now stands against him.

Meanwhile, Lee Eun-hyeok returns in a surprising new form after being presumed dead. His return raises many questions about what is happening to people who undergo monsterization and what the future of humanity might look like.

Seo Yi-kyung is also dealing with a difficult situation involving her daughter, known as Kid. She wants to protect her child while trying to understand the strange changes taking place around them. At the same time, Eun-yu and Chan-yeong continue fighting to survive in a world filled with new dangers.

As neohumans begin to emerge, the survivors realize that the world is changing. Humans can no longer simply fight monsters and expect everything to return to normal. They must decide how they will live in a world where the difference between human and monster is becoming harder to define.

The season brings the characters toward their final confrontation while exploring humanity, identity, sacrifice, family, friendship, and the meaning of staying human during a changing world.
